Dear Relative / Friend

Re:         Visiting Arrangements

Due to increased concerns regarding the upsurge of the COVID-19 virus in Northern Ireland, we write to provide you with notice that it may be again necessary for us to stop visits to the Homes.

We do not take the decision to cease visiting lightly however we hope that you will understand that, should this be necessary, it is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your loved one and to help prevent any outbreak or spread of this virus in the Home.

We have invested in a number of social media devices to ensure that you can keep in touch with your loved one on-line however, as before, because of the increased pressure on staffing, we would ask you to limit calls to between the times of 11am and 8pm if possible.

Should the decision be taken to close the Home to visitors, we will contact relatives / nominated representatives directly and will also post this information on our website.

It would also be useful going forward, if you could please provide us with email addresses to enable us to contact you to ensure that you are furnished with more specific information regarding visiting etc.

Please be assured that, should your loved one fall ill or in any client emergency that you will be informed in the usual manner.

We appreciate that this may be disappointing news for you however; we would reiterate that our main objectives in reintroducing these new measures are to protect our clients, staff and the general public.

May I take this opportunity on behalf of the Directors, Management and Staff of the Home to thank you for your continued support and encouragement and to ensure you of our commitment to the ongoing care of your loved one in these very difficult times

Yours sincerely

Mr R D Wilson
