Brief Description:

The project involved the refurbishment of a fully occupied logistics building which distributes pharmaceutical products throughout Northern Ireland. Particularly high levels of cleanliness were required as some foods for hospitals are also distributed from the building.

 

Works Included:

  • Refurbishment of toilet and changing rooms. This included strip out of existing floors, sanitary ware and associated fixtures & fittings and installation of new flooring, WCs, showers, cubicles, IPS panelling, vanity units, wall tiling (including splash back), wash-hand basins, mirrors, dispenser units, suspended ceilings, plumbing and new lighting.
  • New carpets as well as painting and decorating to the majority of the existing offices including communal areas.
  • Internal demolition to create new open plan offices along with food preparation areas.
  • Painting and decorating to communal areas and hallways.
  • All work in compliance with DDA regulations.

 

Outcome:

  • The project was completed on time and within budget.
  • We liaised closely with the client to minimise dust, noise, vibration and nuisance which successfully resulted in no disruption to the daily operations of the building.
  • No health & safety incidents or accidents occurred.
  • Eco-maps and action plans were created and managed as part of our commitment to environmental management.
